Utility Rebate Incentives
Northwest (NW) Ductless Heat Pump Pilot Project**

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, Bonneville Power Administration, and other utilities and organizations in the Northwest are supporting the use of inverter-driven ductless heat pumps to displace electric resistance heat in homes.  Most of the utilities are offering significant cash rebates (up to $1,500 or more) for installations in single- and multi-family homes with the old electric heat. For more information, visit:

Federal Energy Tax Credits**

The recently passed American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (The "Stimulus Plan") provides tax credits (up to $1,500) for the highest efficiency ductless heat pumps installed in principal residences.  These tax credits may be combined with utilities incentives and state tax credits through December 31, 2010.
